review of vectors and matrices - covered, and then some, in Appendix A.1

Coverage:
In order to obtain "even" coverage of course topics over both the
midterm and final exams, there will be about 50 points worth of
questions on the material covered on the midterm
- Chapters 1, 2, 3, and the first part of Chapter 5
(for a total of 150 points, including the midterm,
on that material), and 150 points worth of
questions on the rest of the material since the midterm.
