There will be Test #1 on Wednesday, 10/01 at 5:30 in SCC 130

The test will cover Chapters 1–3. The level of difficulty will be comparable with simpler assignment problems and the problems below. You will have almost unlimited time for the test and it will be open book (no notes).

The number of problems in the actual test will be 5 or 6. This is just to give you an idea what level of difficulty to expect. If certain type of problem does not appear in the list below, it does NOT indicate that such a problem could not appear in the test!
