During the spring term of the 2004-2005 UMD Study in England Programme, Dr. Linda Miller Cleary taught an honors section of Eng 2922: Art of the Memoir. As part of the course requirements, students Jill Blodgett, Jessica Irwin, and Topher McCulloch were required to write three memoirs; two of which were to be travel related. Their final pieces are posted here so that future programme participants have an idea of the depth of personal experience made possible by the programme.
