Joanne Itami is a research professor in the Biology Department at University of Minnesota Duluth. Current research in collaboration with Tim Craig, centers on evolutionary ecology and behavior of herbivore populations and their host plants. Projects include measuring allozyme, behavior, and morphological variation among host races and subspecies populations of Eurosta solidaginis on two species of Goldenrod Solidago altissima and S. gigantea and the subspecies of Solidago altissima: S. a. altissima and S. a. gilvocanescens. |
