Library Instruction

The Sociology/Anthropology Librarian, Kathryn Fuller, offers library instruction tailored for specific courses, topics (e.g., legislative history, legal research), or on specific databases and resources (e.g., dHRAF).  Instruction sessions can be conducted in the two computer labs in the library - one accommodating 28 and the other 24 students. They also can be given in any classroom on campus that is wireless or has an internet connection. Typically, sessions are 45 -50 minutes although shorter ones can also be arranged.  Also, instruction sessions are available for individual faculty for demonstrating new databases and other research options available through the UMD Library.
