Professional Life:  Doctoral degree in physical education (Adapted Physical Education/Special Education) awarded by Indiana University in 1982.  Master of Science in athletic training from Indiana University was awarded in 1977. Earned a B.S. degree in physical education from the University of Minnesota - Duluth in 1975.  I have been working at UMD since 1982.  I have been department head since 1991.
