Paul J. Weber

I received a B.S. degree in the field of Computer Engineering in 2003 and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the field of Electrical Engineering in 2005 and 2006, respectively, from Michigan Technological University (Houghton, MI). My primary research interests are Fault Tolerance and Safety-Critical Real-Time Systems including x-by-wire technologies (primarily the distributed control of such systems). I am also interested in the digital control and efficiency of energy systems as well as research in the education of energy issues. In addition, I have worked in the area of computer networks, most recently in the context of Peer-to-Peer applications using epidemic-style protocols. Microcontroller-based projects and the study and implementation of programmable FPGAs are also of interest. For all the details of my background and work, please view my curriculum vitae (PDF).
