Assignment 3 Create some charts of mineral/resource usage. Each of you will be assigned a metal and/or mineral for which you will plot U.S. production, World production, and U.S. consumption from 1920 to 2002. Web Links, this class February 20
Presentation and synopsis Present a mineral: Partner project. Each pair will be expected to chronicle the life of a mineral, from formation, to exploitation, to use. This should be a 12 minute presentation. It will be peer reviewed. You will also pass in a written synopsis of this presentation. Your own research from texts, literature, and web resources. Mar10/12

Final Journal of class due. This journal should include typed copies of notes taken in class, synopses of each topic with your own reflections and thoughts on the topic, plus a portfolio of all your assignments. This should be put in a 3-ring binder.
