SDO Poster Service
The UMD Student Design Organization provides design services for campus colleges,
departments, student organizations, and anyone else who might want a poster designed
by UMD Graphic Design Students.
How It Works
All you need to do is fill out the form with the details of your project.
Within two days of your submission, one of our graphic designers will get
in touch with you to provide you with an estimate and to discuss your design.
At this time you and your designer can set up proper meeting times to review
the design and discuss changes before it goes to print.
SDO Poster Service works directly with UMD Print Services, so once the poster
is finished, all you need to do is go and pick them up. If you would like your
poster printed elsewhere arrangements can be made.
The sooner we have your ideas and completed copy, the easier it is for us to
design for your needs. It is MANDATORY that we have your request two weeks before
the posting date. This allows our designers to have enough time to meet with you
to discuss the process and make sure our final product is something that YOU WANT.
What It Costs
The basic cost for an 11x17 inch poster is $75 for the design plus the cost of
printing from UMD Print Services. Any other print jobs will be quoted. To get a
quote, fill out our request form. There is no cost or obligation to buy after
receiving an estimate.
