Mr. Ferguson was heavily involved with others in the local engineering profession in the start-up of the Department in the mid-1980s. He has taught a variety of upper division courses throughout its twenty-year-plus existence, as well as chairing the Department’s Industrial Advisory Board until 2005.

He remains a student of communications systems and antenna design.
