Fiesta de la Americas: 17th Annual Fiesta of the Americas Saturday night was full of fun. The food, the music, the dancing and the people made the fiesta entertaining. Resource for Club Members If you could not attended any Club meetings for any reasons, this is the place to find out what you missed from recent events and club discussions. Our Mission: To serve as a resource for Spanish Majors and Minors here at UMD. We wish to establish a connection between students and faculty members and provide cultural experiences that connect to the Spanish speaking world. We work together with other student organizations, such as the Latino Chicana Student Association (LCSA), and are involved in many fun events through out the school year. We are open to new ideas and suggestions and offer students of all levels and abilities a great chance to practice Spanish. |
"The year is winding down and coming to an end. We started out with only a few regular members and now the club feels real with the numbers of members that come back and contribute to the group. We planned many events and worked very hard to make each one a success. I am very proud of the work that the members have contributed to making the year run as smoothly as it has. I can't wait for next year. Espero que tengamos el mismo exito el ano proximo!"
