Pickles
7 cups cucumbers, sliced thin, unpeeled, packed
1 cup onions, sliced thin
1 tablespoon salt, let stand for 2 hrs.
Rinse under cold water and drain well
Heat 1 c. vinegar, 2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. celery seeds. Can add green
pepper. Put cucumbers and onions in jar, and pour hot mixture over.
Refrigerate. Keeps indefinitely in refrigerator.
