- May 9 - Last day of Spring Semester 2008
- May 12 - 16 - Final exams (If you're taking your finals with DS&R confirm your schedule with Kay!)
- May 15 - Graduate School Commencement
- May 17 - UMD Commencement
- May 19 - Last day to register for May Session 2008 classes
- June 9 - Summer Session 2008 begins
- August 30 - September 1- Mandatory Orientation for new freshmen
- September 2 - Fall Semester 2008 classes begin
