Students new to DR (or thinking about coming to DR) are often concerned that information about their disability and/or accommodations will go on their permanent academic record. The answer to this question is "NO".
All DR records are confidential, and except for special "need-to-know" situations, no disability-related information leaves the office without the student's signed consent.
All Access Assistants, the student employees working for DR, and all note takers working through DR sign oaths of confidentially.
Disability documentation submitted by students is kept in locked areas. All student files are destroyed seven years after the student's last contact with DR.
