Responsibilities
of Students with Disabilities

Students with disabilities share these responsibilities with all other students. All students must:

• Meet and maintain the qualifications and essential standards for courses, programs, services, and/or employment
• Meet and maintain conduct standards
• Provide for personal independent living needs and other personal needs

To use accommodations, students with disabilities must:

• Meet with a Disability Resources specialist
• Provide documentation of their disability and how the disability laffects them in the University
• Request appropriate accommodations within a reasonable time
• Print out accommodation letters; take letter and accommodation forms to professors
• Follow published procedures for obtaining accommodations
