HousingIncoming freshmen who are interested in university housing for the 2012-2013 school year must first confirm a date for Advisement and Registration in order to obtain a housing contract. The deadline to submit housing contracts is May 2nd. Priority for housing choice is based on the date the application for admission was received by the Office of Admissions. Contracts received after May 2nd will be assigned housing on a space-available basis. Financial AidEstimated Financial Aid Award Notices will be sent out to incoming freshmen on a rolling basis until mid-May. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processsing after submitting the FAFSA. If you have questions about financial aid, be sure to review the information under 'Types of Aid' on Financial Aid & Registrar page. Incoming Freshmen are reminded to monitor their UMD email accounts all summer. PSEO & College in the Schools TranscriptsIncoming freshmen who have participated in either PSEO or College in the Schools coursework should have transcripts from the college sent to us as soon as possible.
