Are Transfer students required to submit the ACT?

If a student has completed more than 26 semester credits at another institution, an ACT score is not required. However, if they have completed less than 26 semester credits, an ACT score is required for admissions.

Are nontraditional students required to submit the ACT?

Yes, unless they have completed more than 26 credits at another institution.

Must a score report be received from ACT?

We will accept ACT scores that are included on an official high school transcript.

If the ACT is taken more than once, which score will be used?

We will use the highest composite score submitted. Please note that we will NOT combine the individual scores.

Is the SAT accepted?

Yes, although the ACT is preferred.

Are you going to require that prospective students take the ACT writing exam?

We will require that all new students applying for the Fall 2007 term submit results of the ACT writing exam with their application.

Does the institution offer a residual ACT?

Yes; permission must be obtained from an admissions counselor first.
