Reciprocity Rates (UMD Financial Aid and Registrar's Office)

*UMD has reciprocity agreements with Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Manitoba. If you are a resident of any of these states or of this province, you may qualify for reciprocity tuition rates, which are lower than nonresident tuition rates and, in some cases,comparable to resident rates. For more specific information, contact the UMD Office of Admissions or the Board of Higher Education in your state or province.
*Because UMD is a state institution, Minnesota residents pay lower tuition rates than do nonresidents. To qualify for resident status, students must reside in Minnesota for at least one calendar year before the first day of class attendance.
