Greetings, new international students!

On behalf of the UMD International Club, I'd like to congratulate you all on your admittance into this great institution and extend a warm welcome. The University of Minnesota Duluth is a stimulating place to pursue your education and be challenged academically.

Currently there are over 40 countries represented in our student body and the International Club serves as a medium for us to build friendships between international and American students and between international students from diverse countries. It serves as a focal point for international, cultural, and social activities on campus. Through companionship and support between members, we hope to make your transition to UMD smoother.

I really hope your stay at UMD is filled with fantastic people, terrific times, and an education to last a lifetime.  I encourage you to take advantage of the possibilities that await you here and to be a part of the exciting activities the University and the Club have to offer.

Welcome to Duluth!
