Apply Online or Request Admissions Information

Apply Online

1. Create an account with the University of Minnesota.
You will need a University of Minnesota account to apply for admission online. You can create a guest account for this purpose. For details, see: Why do I need to create an account?.
2. Complete the Online Application for Admission (For Undergraduates Only)
The form will open in a new window. You will be expected to either log in or create a new account within the University of Minnesota system.
This service is not available between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. CT.
If you encounter problems with the online application (i.e. credit card will not submit) or you have login or pin number questions, please call (612) 301-4357 (when prompted, press '3') or e-mail admhelp@umn.edu.
3. Download the High School Official Application Addendum (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)
High school students applying online should download the "High School Official Application Addendum" to submit to their high school officials when requesting high school transcripts.
