Online Application or Request for Information

Applications will be processed within four to five weeks (about 20-25 business days) from the time the application file is COMPLETE. Students will be notified of their application status by US Mail.

If you will be requesting a fee waiver, you must utilize the printable application form.

Students already attending another University of Minnesota campus (not PSEO or CIS) must use this form.

     

1. Create and account with the University of Minnesota

(NOTE: create the account under CAMPUS GUEST)

You will need a University of Minnesota account to apply for admission online. You can create a guest account for this purpose. For details, see: Why do I need to create an account?.

If you are already attending a University of Minnesota campus, do not use the online application, you must instead use this form.


2. Complete the Online Application for Admission (for undergraduates only).

The form will open in a new window. You will be expected to either log in or create a new account within the University of Minnesota system. It is recommended that you complete the application in one sitting instead of saving and logging back in multiple times.

This service is not available between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. CT.

3. Download the High School Official Application Addendum

(requires Adobe Acrobat Reader).

High school students applying online can download the "High School Official Application Addendum" to submit to their high school officials when requesting high school transcripts. This is an optional form for counselors to use and is not required for a complete application file.
