Welcome to Application Tracker! You can use this tool to determine which application materials have been received and whether a decision has been made on your application.
Admissions Applications and supporting materials, whether they are submitted electronically or through the mail, generally appear on Application Tracker within 10 business days (please note that international student documents may take slightly longer). Each document is individually reviewed and manually connected to your application file, so this process does take some time to complete. You will receive an email with your student ID from the Office of Admissions when your application for admission has been received. This process can take up to 3 business days after submitting your online application.
If you are new to Application Tracker:
You will need to set up an account using your 7-digit U of M student ID number. If you applied online, please note your Application Tracker login is different from your online application login.
Use your 7-digit student ID number to initiate your student account.
Once you have initiated your account, use your U of M internet ID (e.g. champ999) and password, to log in Application Tracker.
Your student ID will be sent to the email address you indicated on your application for admission. This email may take up to one week after you submit your application. If you need student ID number retrieval assistance, contact us by telephone, 218-726-7171 or 1-800-232-1339, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have already used Application Tracker:
You will need to log in using your U of M internet ID (e.g. champ999) and password.
Use your U of M internet ID (e.g. champ999) and password, to log in Application Tracker.
Call the Help Desk at 218-726-8847 for more information on how to retrieve your login information.
Please note that Application Tracker is unavailable on Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (central time) for regularly scheduled maintenance.
