We Invite You to Visit the UMD CampusThe Office of Admissions believes that campus visits are an essential part of any college search, and so we invite you to come explore UMD. We know you will be impressed with our campus, the friendly UMD community, and our beautiful city by the lake. So don't just read about it -- visit UMD and experience the lake effect for yourself! Capacity for tours and visit programs is limited and will fill up early during peak visiting times. To avoid disappointment, be sure to schedule your campus visit with us as soon as possible. Admitted Student DaysThis is a full day visit that is specific to students who have already been admitted to UMD, but haven’t yet made their decision on which college to attend. Each Admitted Student Day is specific to the academic college that the student is admitted to. Students will get to meet with faculty, staff and students and learn more about their program, academic opportunities and student life at UMD. Optional housing tours and full campus tours are available at the end of the day. The day will begin at 9:15am and conclude by 4:00pm if the optional tours are added. The day will include free lunch for the family. These are great visits for students early in their college search looking for a broad overview of UMD. Self-Guided ToursIf you are not able to visit us during our normal tour times or a campus visit program, you are welcome to take a self-guided tour. During most weekends other than semester breaks or university holidays, many of our campus buildings are open for you to walk around and explore. Self-guided tour booklets are located at the Solon Campus Center information desk and the Kirby Student Center information desk. You can also download a copy along with the Self Guided Tour Booklet & Campus Map (.pdf). A mobile-friendly version is available here. Look for the QR codes posted around campus.
