The Office of Admissions and the Financial Aid Office are committed to providing timely and accurate information to students and families as they navigate the scholarship and financial aid process. A qualified staff member is available to assist with all issues related to filing the FAFSA application and receiving Federal, State and University financial aid and scholarship resources. Assistance is available during a student's senior year of high school and throughout their UMD career.
UMD Admissions Counselors are trained in all aspects of Federal, State, and University specific financial aid programs and serve as the primary point of contact for new freshmen students and their families through the second week of fall semester.
Beyond the second week, students and families are supported by the Office of Financial Aid and Registrar where Financial Aid staff serve as the primary point of contact.
Detailed information on the financial aid process and contact information for the Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid is available at: UMD Office of Admissions.
