ELIGIBILITY
REQUIREMENTS
GMC QUALIFICATIONS:
-
A full time student at the University of Minnesota-Duluth,
the College of St. Scholastica, University of Wisconsin-Superior, or Lake
Superior College
-
Participate in Aerospace Studies classes and Leadership
Laboratory while enrolled in school
-
Be a U.S. citizen prior to Field Training
-
Good physical condition
-
Good moral character
-
14 years old (17 years old to receive scholarship)
POC QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Good moral character
-
Be a U.S. Citizen
-
Be 18 years old or older (or) 17 years old with parent or
guardian consent
-
Be in good academic standing
-
Participate in both Aerospace Studies classes and Leadership
Laboratory while enrolled in school
-
Meet the Age Requirements:
-
Rated (pilot or nav) - commissioned before reaching the age of 29
-
Scholarship Candidates - be less than 31 years old as of December
31 of the year you will commission
-
Tech, Non-tech, and Non-rated - commissioned by age 30
(waiverable)

Be physically qualified:
-
Meet Air Force height and weight standard
-
Pass the Air Force Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
-
Have a military certified physical
-
Disqualifiers include:
-
Asthma, Reactive Airways Disease, recurrent Exercise Induced
Bronchospasms, and Asthmatic Bronchitis. To be disqualifiers, these
conditons must have been confirmed by medical records or by specialist
evaluation. Some cases may be waiverable.
History of these illnesses after the 12th birthday is not waiverable

Laser Assisted In-Situ Keratomileusis eye surgery, and Photorefractive Keratectomy for myopia or hyperopia may be waiverable

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (waiverable after
being off medication for a one year period)
