Julie Munger is a proud UMD alum! Julie received her B.A. in Political Science and Journalism in 1998. Julie has had a lifelong interest in international affairs, starting when her family started hosting Japanese exchange students when she was a child. Julie spent one year studying Japanese language and culture in Kobe, Japan in the 1990's. She has worked as the Program Associate for the Alworth Institute since February 2012. She also works part-time doing marketing (and a variety of other duties) at her family's Inn in Western Duluth near Spirit Mountain.
