Admission Checklist

Complete Application

It’s really easy. You can create an account and complete the application online or print the application and mail it to us. Done.

Submit

When you submit your application, whether online or via mail, you will need to also provide:

  1. A $35 nonrefundable application fee (via credit card online or check in mail)
  2. Your high school transcripts (or official GED score)
  3. ACT or SAT scores
  4. College or university transcripts (only if you've taken PSEO or CITS classes or completed any other college coursework)

General Advice

Don’t wait. The earlier you apply, the greater your chances of receiving financial aid and scholarships. Plus, UMD mails advisement and registration invites according to your application date.

You can complete your online application in more than one sitting by saving your work as you go.

Expect to hear back from us about four weeks after you submit your application. In the meantime, you can check your application status online.
