Bill Shipley is a painter and educator and a UMD alumnus. Recently retired from a 30 year career teaching at New York City's Trinity School, Bill returned to Duluth where he works in various capacities with the Tweed Museum. Through Bill Shipley Fine Arts, he has been involved in the business aspects of art production, working with dealers, artists and curators. He continues to paint and has been active in community and cultural initiatives. He is the founding member of Q&A, an alumni organization for gays and lesbians and their allies. Bill will serve as a juror for the 2006 Annual Art Students Exhibition, April 8 to May 7, 2006.
