student design organization

The Student Design Organization is a group of students extending their knowledge and awareness of design. The SDO organizes studio tours, carries weekly discussions regarding design topics, and works as a vehicle to talking about student issues. Membership in the Student Design Organization is totally free. Anyone interested in design is welcome to take part in weekly meetings or take a studio tour. Students new to the design program at UMD are strongly encouraged to take part in the organization. Advice and critiques from upperclassmen are readily available and can help in the journey through the program.
