Welcome to the Office of Student BehaviorThe Office of Student Behavior is responsible for the administrative functions regarding student behavior on campus, while upholding the University of Minnesota Board of Regents Student Conduct Code, as well as the Duluth campus proceedings. This office oversees violations of the Student Conduct Code, including student academic dishonesty. Our mission through the discipline process is to use educational and developmental strategies in resolving incidents of alleged violations. The conduct code coordinator is interested in making a fair determination of the truth or falsity of the reported complaint. This is accomplished by thoroughly reading the complainant's report and listening to the student's side of the story. Emphasis is placed on assisting students to understand and accept responsibility for their behavior. Through its policies and procedures, a fair, equitable, and lawful system is in place to protect the rights of students. Please feel free to contact our office with any questions or concerns you may have. Kathy M. Skelton 297 Darland Administration Building |
