Career Services
The mission of Career Services is to help UMD students and alumni develop, evaluate, and implement their career plans. Professionally trained counselors are available to assist students in all aspects of the career/life planning process, from choosing a major to carrying out a job search. -
First Year Experience & Students In Transition
The First Year Experience & Students in Transition Program at UMD works collaboratively with students, faculty, staff and families to provide new students and those in transition with personal connections, knowledge and resources that will foster lifelong learning and participation in a diverse community. -
Health Services
To provide students the opportunity to develop healthy personal lifestyles, help ensure their retention at UMD, and contribute to the overall excellence of their total educational experience. We will accomplish this mission by providing quality health care, counseling, and education that focuses on their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well being, and to be actively involved with all health issues that affect the University and community. -
Kirby Student Center
To maintain facilities, provide services and promote programs that are responsive to student developmental needs and to the physical, social, recreational and continuing educational needs of the campus community. -
Knowledge Management Center
The KMC is committed to continuous change, evaluation, assessment, development, and deployment of technological tools for managing educational and professional records. Our Strategies will be to create partnerships to take these progressive technologies and make them mainstream at UMD. -
Office of Admissions
The UMD Office of Admissions provides prospective college students and their families with the information, experiences, personal attention, and timely, quality service needed to make an informed, appropriate college choice. Our goal is to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of these students and their families. -
Office of Cultural Diversity
The mission of the Multicultural Center is to enhance academic achievement, create a sense of belonging, celebrate diversity, and foster positive relations among UMD students, faculty and staff. -
Office of Disability Resources
The University of Minnesota Duluth values diversity as a means of enriching the educational experience of all students. Office of Financial Aid and Registrar
The mission of the Office of Financial Aid and Registrar is to provide quality service to students, parents, and academic units. We help students learn about and receive financial aid, register for classes, track their academic progress and protect the integrity of their academic records. -
Office of Student and Community Standards
The Office of Student Behavior is responsible for the administrative functions regarding student behavior on campus. Emphasis is placed on assisting students to understand and accept responsibility for their behavior, and the conduct code coordinator uses educational opportunities whenever possible. Through its policies and procedures, a fair, equitable, and lawful system is in place to protect the rights of students. -

VCASSL mission is to engage and support every student's active learning by enrolling them, providing financial assistance, as well as academic support, co-curricular activities, career development and opportunities for personal growth. -

Supportive Services Program
The Supportive Services Program (SSP) provides a network of developmental and leadership opportunities for all students, primarily through courses, workshops, tutoring, and academic advising, which enables them to achieve academic success.
