Helicopter crew move in to tranquilize a moose in Quetico Provincial Park, Ontario, as part of a research project led by UMD's Natural Resources Research Institute. The project is the largest ever undertaken to understand why Minnesota's moose populations may be declining.

A tranquilized bull moose gets a health check from Minnesota Department of Natural Resources scientists. They are working with UMD's Natural Resources Research Institute to understand why Minnesota's moose populations may be in decline.
