April 18: Volunteer opportunity - Spring City Cleanup
April 14: Club meeting at 5pm in SMEd 130. An AmeriCorps representative and officer elections!
April 9: Club meeting at 6pm in SMed 130. Sonya with Career Services will give tips, tricks, and advice or writing your personal statement.
March 31: Club meeting at 7pm. Joint meeting with the Pre-Pharmacy Club - we will have a pharmacist and a physican who work together, in to talk about their careers.
March 26: The Pre-medicine Club will be hosting a lunch at NOON in SMed 142 for all participants of the Mentorship Program.
Mentees: Your mentors have been informed of the lunch and will be in attendance. This is the perfect time to meet your mentor or to catch up in a casual setting.March 24: Club meeting at 6pm. A panel of medical students will be available to answer questions. Bring your clothing order forms!
March 9: The Associate Director of Admissions from Ross University Medical School will provide information on the school.
February 11: Brandon Dosch will discuss job opportunities with the company fahrenHEIGT360.

February 4: UMD Volunteer Fair will be held from 9-3pm in the Kirby Ballroom.

December 5: Club members, volunteer to staff the Holiday Party at a local women's transitional housing childcare program
November 11: Tour of the UMD cadaver lab with first-year medical students
Student Mentorship Program: The Pre-Medicine Club advisor, officers, and representatives of the first and second year medical students have developed a student mentorship program this year. Mentor/mentee matches have been made, and a lunch is being planned for participants. Contact the club president for more information.
Volunteer opportunities are available at St. Mary's, St. Luke's, MDA Summercamp, Civic Engagement, Kirby Leadership, Safe Haven Shelter, Damiano Center and more...
Doc Talks - is a monthly public lecture series addressing current issues in medicine that is sponsored by the University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth. DocTalks are held on the second Tuesday of every month, September-April at 7:30 p.m. in Room 142 of the School of Medicine building. DocTalks are free and intended for the public.
