Pre-Pharmacy Club

The Pre-Pharmacy Club's purpose is to inform students interested in pursuing a pharmacy career. Club members get to know other students interested in the pharmacy profession, learn about the application process to pharmacy schools, and, most of all, have fun!

April 20: Club Meeting, Officer Elections!

March 3:
Club Meeting, 6:45pm, Kirby 333. Tips and PCAT practice exam with a Kaplan representative.

February 3: Club Meeting, 7:00pm, 42 SCC (Knowledge Management Center). Personal statement writing workshop with Sonja Olsen from Career Services.

December 10:
Professors Bauer and Ranelli from the UMD School of Pharmacy talk about their research

November 7:
Mayo Clinic Lab Sciences Training Program Informational Session

Pharmacy Mentorship Program
Pre-Pharmacy students, take the opportunity to be mentored by a UMD Pharmacy Student. You may choose to attend class with your mentor, meet them for lunch, etc. If you are interested in this program, please contact Lindsey Hanson, UMD Pharmacy student, to be connected with a mentor.

Other activities of the Pre-Pharmacy Club include:

Invited speakers such as pharmacists, pharmacy student panels, drug company representatives, pharmacy admissions staff, and volunteer coordinators; adopt-a-highway, relay for life
