We can facilitate your contact with students and alumni for internships and full-time employment through the following services.
GoldPASSGoldPASS is UMD's online recruiting system which allows you to view resumes, post job or internship openings, schedule interviews, and register for job fairs. To establish a free account, click "Register" and follow the simple steps to set up and account. Login or Register On Campus RecruitingRecruiting dates are available during the school year and may be scheduled by using GoldPASS or by contacting our Recruitment Coordinator. If you choose an "open schedule," students will sign up to interview with you on a first-come, first-served basis. If you want to screen candidates and pre select those you wish to interview, you may choose a "closed schedule." Whichever schedule you choose, we encourage you to consider students from as broad a range of majors and degrees as the internship or job description allows. Once a recruiting date has been established, your web site will be linked to the recruiting schedule on our web site. List Job and Internship OpportunitiesTo post a position, at no charge, use your GoldPASS account. We also participate in LandIt!, a web site for listing job and internship openings, sponsored by the Minnesota College and University Career Services Association. If you are interested in advertising your openings on LandIt!, go to www.mcucsa.org and your positions will automatically be posted free to all of the thirty participating career centers. Job FairsThe Head of the Lakes Job Fair is sponsored annually by UMD for students from UMD, The College of St. Scholastica and the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Career Resource CenterStudents are encouraged to research employers using the Career Resource Center, located in our office and staffed with peer assistants.
