CPT/OPT Work Authorization Workshops

  • January 27, 2 to 3 pm, KSC 268
    • Curricular Practical Training (CPT) CPT is work authorization that allows a student to work in a job related to his/her field: (paid internship, independent study) prior to completing their academic program. Beginning at 2:00
    • Optional Practical Training (OPT) OPT is work authorization that allows a student to work in a job related to his/her field after completing a program of study. Programs in a STEM field have the option of extending their authorization for 17 months. Beginning at 2:30

Preparing for Graduate & Professional School Workshop

This workshop is for students who are thinking of applying to graduate or professional school.  Learn about the timeline for applying, different pieces that are required in the application, deadlines and helpful tips to prepare your application!
