Diversity Commission
The mission of the UMD Diversity Commission is to promote awareness and appreciation of diversity and to address equity issues through advocacy and education at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Since 1989 the commission has sponsored campus wide educational events open to all students, staff and faculty of UMD. The UMD Diversity Commission works with UMD, UM and community partners to carry out its mission. Students are encouraged to become involved as members along with faculty and staff.
