This office provides programs and services designed to help new students and their families through their transition into the university community. Programs offered through First YEar Experience & Students in Transition include Advisement & REgistration, Bulldog Welcome Week, SSP 1000: UMD Seminar, Transfer Touchpoints, Parents & Family Weekend, and Winter Welcome. Ongoing support and referrals are available for students and their families throughout their time at the University.
