Course Welcome from Instructor: Thank you for registering for Fall 2007, University of Minnesota Duluth course, CSt 3030, Section 200, 3 credits, SCIENCE FICTION. This course is offered through Continuing Education (CE) as an Individualized Instruction (INI), in which the information on the course is available on the World Wide Web. There are no class meetings or required meetings with the instructor, although you are invited and encouraged to discuss your progress and to ask any questions you may have concerning course expectations. You may contact Tom Bacig by e-mail, phone, or in person. Your instructor is: Tom Bacig Students have 16 weeks to complete the course work. Those who do not complete on time may request an extension of up to 6 weeks. Students requesting an extension will then receive an I (Incomplete) grade which will change to an "F" 6 weeks after the end of the term if they do not complete the course requirements. In order to request an extension to complete the course after the end of the sixteenth week, students must have completed five of ten lessons. Only one such extension will be granted. If students do not request an extension before the end of the term, an F grade will be submitted if their coursework is incomplete. Students who do not earn a passing grade in these time periods will need to register for CSt 3030-200 a second time, and pay tuition a second time, to complete the course and/or change grades. Attention students who registered late: Please contact your instructor for completion dates.
