Man with a computerThe term Distance Education is used to describe a number of different learning opportunities where the instructor and student do not meet face-to-face in a traditional classroom. UMD Continuing Education offers both academic credit and professional continuing studies (noncredit) options. We feel it’s important to have options because we all have different learning styles and life commitments.
