If you would rather fax or mail your registration, please print off the PDF version of this form located at http://www.d.umn.edu/ce/forms/regform2.pdf. Required items on this form are marked; they will be used for identification, to determine admission, and to establish or reference your University academic record. The remaining are voluntary and will be used for positive identification, advising and counseling, course placement, and institutional research.
Please allow 2-3 business days for processing of your registration. You will receive an e-mail confirmation to the e-mail address you provide below once you are registered. Confirmation of your registration, which will include your UMD ID number and supplemental information, will be sent by US Mail. Once you have your UMD ID number you can activate your UMD e-mail account by going to http://www.d.umn.edu/register and clicking on "Look up your e-mail name (Internet ID)" and "Account Initiation." University assigned student e-mail accounts are the University's offical means of communication.
NOTE: By registering for classes, you enter into a legally binding contract to pay all tuition and fees, including any non-refundable fees. See the Web (at http://www.d.umn.edu/registrar/tuition_and_fees.html) for additional information. Check the refund schedule (at http://www.d.umn.edu/ce/06fall/cancellations.html) before canceling courses; you are held responsible for tuition and fees if you do not cancel during the 100% refund period.
Non-degree-seeking students are required to pay tuition, fees, and all other charges on their account in full by the first billing due date for the semester. Billing due dates are available online at http://www.d.umn.edu/umdbo/sarfeechart.html. If payment is not received by the due date, your registration will be cancelled.
Non-degree seeking students can participate in the University's payment plan. This plan includes a one-time $35 installment fee. To participate, students must contact Continuing Education at 218/726-8101, or visit 104 Darland Administration Building.
Students will receive a bill via their UMD e-mail account from the Student Accounts Receivable (SAR). Payments can be made electionically from a United States bank account or with a credit card using UMPay, or in person at windows 11 and 12 in the Darland Administration Building lobby. Students can also mail their payment to: UMD Cashier's Office, 140 Darland Administration Building, 1049 University Drive, Duluth, MN 55812-3011.
If you choose payment by credit card: MasterCard, Discover/Novus, and American Express are the only accepted credit cards. All credit card payments will be assessed a non-refundable 2.75% fee.
Credit card payments can only be accepted through the UM Pay Web site, and not in person or through this registration form.
Minnesota Public Interest Research Group (MPIRG) is a non-partisan, non-profit, student-led organization, which trains students to become leaders, equipping them with skills to carry beyond graduation.
