Getting Started After Registration

1. To communicate with your instructor, you must use your UMD e-mail account. To set up your UMD e-mail account, please go to http://www.d.umn.edu/Register/ and follow instructions provided under Account Initiation.

2. Select the course you are taking to determine your start and end dates and to obtain specific information on your course, including syllabus and instructor contact information.

You must IMMEDIATELY determine your course start and end dates. Not all courses are the same. Each has specific requirements that must be met to complete the course successfully.
