Getting Started
Returning to School at UMD is as easy as 1, 2, 3 ...
Making the decision to return to school is exciting. Additional education might lead you to a new career, advancement in your current career, or personal enrichment. Below are three easy steps you can follow to begin your journey in lifelong learning:
1.
SELECT YOUR PATH
If you need a little help getting started, why not speak
to a Continuing Education counselor. Located in 104 Darland Administration
Building, they are happy to discuss UMD programs and services.
They can help you select classes, choose your major and career direction, enter and plan courses for a CE certificate program, apply for UMD admission and financial aid, as well as any other student concerns. Call 218/726-8101 to set up an appointment to speak with a counselor.
2.
REGISTER FOR YOUR CLASSES
Once you have decided your direction and the classes you wish to take, you
can register. You can either call Continuing Education
Registration at 218-726-8113 or stop by CE Window
1 or 2 in the Darland Administration Building.
CE's Registration staff are ready to help you register. They can also point
you in the right direction if you have questions about campus, parking,
textbooks, or with other concerns you may have. We're here to help,
so ask questions!
3. START
YOUR CLASS

you're on your way to a learning adventure. Remember, there's always help
