The US council functions as the active governing unit based on by-laws and policies. It is composed of US members who maintain annual memberships. Council officers are elected by the general membership and the president elect chooses the committee chairs who serve on the council.
Our members lead sixty-five percent of our study groups. The remaining thirty-five percent are offered by current and retired campus professors and community leaders. The Study Group Committee, as part of the US council, plans, organizes and schedules study groups each term.
