Intergenerational
Sharing
Across Generations
(S.A.G.E.)

S.A.G.E.
is the acronym for a program within the University for Seniors that encourages
Sharing Across GenErations.
- This sharing is encouraged
and facilitated through intergenerational contacts between UMD traditional
students, public school students within the Duluth Community, community homes
for older adults, and the US members.
- Contacts enrich the lives
of all who participate
- US members have been
guest speakers, discussion facilitators, student mentors, met with student
for individual interviews, took classes with traditional students, joined
students on tour groups, and even lobbied at the state legislature for the
new UMD library.
