Post Baccalaureate Program
If you are interested in training in environmental education, this certificate
program is intended for you. The program is designed primarily for teachers
and interpretive naturalists, but is open to anyone with a bachelor's degree
and an interest in pursuing a career as an environmental educator.
The program emphasizes interpretive skills in the natural sciences, education
on environmental issues, and helping people recognize and solve potential
environmental problems. Three main areas of concentration are education,
social sciences, and natural sciences.
The 18 credit program is designed to be completed in one to two years.

Admission to the certificate program is generally approved for students who have successfully completed a bachelor's degree and have satisfactorily completed at least 70 percent of college courses attempted.
The program is designed to interface with the Master of Environmental Education Degree Program (MEEd). Credits earned in the certificate program may be applied to the MEEd program pending acceptance into the degree program, committee approval, and no greater than twelve semester credits transferring prior to MEEd program acceptance.
Current TUITION & FEE RATES - This certificate is not eligible for financial aid.
