General Business Administration
Undergraduate Certificate Program

Undergraduate Program

If you wish to acquire a general foundation in the basic principles and theories of business administration, or want to obtain training to enhance your career opportunities, this certificate is intended for you. Completion of this course of study offers a foundation in business, economics, and accounting. The certificate requires the equivalent of one academic year of full-time study. If you transfer credits to this program from other accredited institutions, you must take a minimum of eight semester credits in business courses at UMD.

From the general business administration certificate program, you can move into a program leading to a bachelor of business administration (BBA) degree after admission to the Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE).

If you are interested in the BBA degree program, contact Tracey Bolen, LSBE Student Affairs Office (21 LSBE, 218/726-7520, tbolen@d.umn.edu).
