Evening Courses

Evening classes are a convenient way to attend UMD even if you cannot complete classes held during the day. These classes can be taken for credit toward a degree or for personal enrichment, and are open to all students whether or not they are officially admitted to UMD.

Evening Student Checklist:

  1. Search for evening courses offered through UMD by term. You have the option to refine your search by subject, online, day of the week, specific times, etc. by selecting the appropriate options.
  2. If you prefer a printed course catalog which lists CE courses offered 4:00 p.m. and later, contact us at cehelp@d.umn.edu or 218/726-8113.
  3. Complete and submit your registration form.

 

What You Can Expect Next:

  1. Confirmation of your registration will be sent to you via email.
  2. Your UMD student ID number and information regarding tuition and fees will be sent to you via US postal service.
  3. Once you have your UMD student ID number, you should activate your UMD email account, acquire a student ID or U Card (A UCard is not required but you will need one to gain access to many University services, including the UMD Library), and prepare to pay your tuition and fees.
  4. Please Note: All CE students are required to pay 100 percent of their tuition and fees by the first payment due date of October 4, 2012 OR be accepted into the CE Payment Plan to avoid being dropped from their courses.
