This online certificate provides specific knowledge and advanced clinical understanding which will contribute to the identification, diagnosis, referral, and treatment of individuals with a gambling addiction. Mental health practitioners, EAP professionals, substance abuse providers, health care providers, clergy and other health professionals will be able to develop the advanced skills necessary to assist in the rehabilitation of gambling addicted clients and their families.
The Studies in Gambling Addiction certificate is a noncredit certificate. Therefore, University of Minnesota credits will not be earned, nor will this certificate appear on an official University transcript. Learners will receive a professional certificate of learning upon completion.
