Title: Tuscany with Friends
Presenters: Kathleen Risku, Betty Selnes,
Martha Peveira, and Dee Rogers
Follow friends as they retrace their steps through the small medieval village of Corbignano, near Florence, Italy.  Their stay in the quaint “La Casa dei Pozzo” town house was full of daily adventures as they learned to use a moka pot to make coffee and an antique washing machine for laundry– never mind the dishwasher. Their presentation will include photos, history, and food and culture.

Date: April 22, 2013
Title: Greenland
Presenters: Barb and Ron Anderson
Travel with Ron and Barb Anderson via a PowerPoint slide show of their unforgettable Greenland experience last August. They visited old Norse sites from the year 1000, chatted with archaeologists who are still finding fascinating artifacts in peat bogs, listened to the booming of calving glaciers, and marveled at the gorgeous icebergs that were everywhere. Barb and Ron are long time University for Seniors members with a love for travel and exploration.

Date: May 6, 2013
Title: Duluth Youth Sister City Exchange with Isumi, Japan

Join Steve and a couple of the youth as they share many of their interesting experiences living and participating in a new culture.
