Present: Ken Gilbertson, Lavonne Levar, Dan Glisczinski, Randy Gordon, Jackie Millslagle.

Guest: Dennis Falk

Meeting convened at 12:05 p.m. There were no corrections to the minutes of October 16.

After discussion and explanation from sponsor, Dennis Falk, SW 1212, Global Issues Honors Seminar, 3 credits, was approved by consensus.

Discusson on two course proposals from Education that will be required for a proposed elementary keyboarding licensure program. Application for the license is in process. Motion/second to approve the following courses with modification (bibliography needed; add prerequisite course; a typographical error). MOTION CARRIED.

  • Educ 3416, Teaching of Elementary Keyboarding & Computer Applications, 2 credits.
  • Educ 3417, Teaching of Elementary Keyboarding & Computer Applications Practicum, 1 credit.

Next meeting scheduled for November 13, at noon.
